Hi, I’m Cherie. I have been exploring the PNW my entire life.
It’s my dad’s fault, really. Every weekend he would load up my brother and I into the back of the truck (it was the 70’s) and start driving. He had a knack for finding abandoned cabins and ghost towns and the thrill of this got into my blood.
By “exploring” I mean checking out back roads, poking around small towns, checking out cemeteries, museums and monuments as well as pulling off the road to read ALL of the roadside historical signs, much to the chagrin of my family and friends.
